We are delighted to announce the sale of a popular City Centre Restaurant to Stuart Ralston of Aizle and Noto fame and his 3rd restaurant in the city. The 1st floor Hanover Street premises adjacent to Bar Soba and The Hanover Tap are premises once the home to probably one of Edinburgh's first wine bars in the 70s (Edinburgh Wine Bar), then followed up late last centurey with Gringo Bills, followed by the Tijuana Yacht Club, David Ramsden's The Dogs and since 2018, The Perch.
Alan Goldie added, "We are delighted to have been instructed to sell The Perch and follow through on a deal to Stuart Ralston one of Edinburgh's most popular restaurateurs in the Edinburgh food and drink scene."
He added, "A new era is about to commence following the refurbishment of the 60 seater bar and restaurant favoured by many for so many years with a new identity Tipo at 110 Hanover Street. This is the second site we have secured for Stuart having previously bought the Noto site on Thistle St nearby from us. We understand Tipo will open in March 2023.
